WoW Cataclysm Is Going To Change Eveything
World of Warcraft has remained a fairly consistent game over the last 5 years with regards to adding content. Blizzard has pretty much kept vanilla WoW the same while adding new zones and contetn to the game.
With the World Of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion pack things are about to drastically change forever.
Aside from the addtion of the Worgen and Goblin and the many changes being made to player skills the landscape of the game is preparing for the biggest changes ever made in WoW.
The starting zones for each class are apparently going to be completely redone ensuring that new players are going to be almost at an even par with veteran players when it comes to leveling new toons.
Those of us that have played the game for several years now have basically memorized the best questing paths for power leveling toons but this will not be the case in WoW Cataclysm.
We are all going to have to learn the new questing routes or rely on one of the WoW leveling addon programs that have become so popular over the last couple years.
I know the folks making these WoW leveling addon programs are scrambling through closd beta to make sure they have updated guides ready for this epic expansion pack.
It seems there is going to be a split for the first time between those looking to reach the level level cap and those making Worgens and Gobins as well as those interested in going through the new zones in the game.
I am torn between allegiance to my older toons and getting them to level 85 and starting new toons so I can experience the all new game play as if I was a new player to World Of Warcraft.
No doubt this latest expansion is the most aggressive effort to date by Blizzard and we are all excited to see what they have done to this game we all love so much.
I am sure there will be those purists that will claim the game has been ruined by getting away from the conventional lore of the game.
On the other hand there will be many new players added to the game as with any other expansion pack as well as those yearning for a change and players coming back to play just to see what has happened in the game.
In either case I am sure the popularity of WoW will continue past Cataclysm and for many years to come as Blizzard seems to have created the perfect recipe for a MMORPG and they are probably the only ones that will be able to create anything that will take over the number one position in this gaming genre.
Many have tried and many have failed. Predictions are that WoW Cataclysm may be to aggressive of an overhaul leaving the door open for competitors.
The competitors have had years to try an emulate World Of Warcraft and none have been able to beat the giant.
